Story

Here is the story behind the song Jesus, Your King: I was talking to Dean Lane, my L.A. friend and studio engineer. I was complaining that I was in the mood to write a song but didn't have a reason to write. "Write a gospel song for me then," he said. "Like what," I asked? He said, "Something like I Saw The Light by Hank Williams." I said, "O.K." and I went to Borders to listen to the song. I also pulled out all my old Tennessee Ernie Ford gospel albums I used to listen to when I was little. Then I began to write. Well--- Jesus, Your King isn't quite like I Saw The Light, but here is what came out!

Lyrics

Jesus, Your King The sweetest name on earth is Jesus, your king Jesus, your king The sweetest song of peace Jesus, he sings Jesus, he sings Gather happy hearts all a-quiver Rejoice in his river of love The sweetest face on earth is Jesus, your king Jesus, your king The savior Lamb of God is Jesus, your king Jesus, your king Rejoice hail the power all around you Triumph in his river of blood The sweetest name on earth is Jesus, your king Jesus, your king The sweetest song of peace Jesus, he sings Jesus, he sings Journey to the gate of the all mighty Unite in his roll call of love The sweetest name on earth is Jesus, your king Jesus, your king The sweetest song of peace Jesus, he sings Jesus, he sings Flock pure of heart all in triumph Wash in his river of blood The sweetest name on earth is Jesus, your king Jesus, your king… c. 2005 Danny Schneider

Story

"Funky Acid" is an instrumental jazz groove created with Sony ACID Music Studio

Lyrics

"Funky Acid" is an instrumental---no lyrics! It's new! "Funky Acid." It's free to download or do anything you want with it! It was recorded using Sony Acid--hence the name! I kind of think of it as Herbie Hancock meets Bootsy Collins meets Robert Fripp... I do believe you will find it funky! Maybe like Tower of Power---- Love you!

Story

A man wants to know how much time he has left---then it gets kind of crazy with silly songs from childhood swirling around in his head.

Lyrics

*** For The Life Of Me For the life of me… For the life of me… For the life of me… How much time? (Silently, to yourself: “ I wanna know”) How much time? For the life of me… For the life of me… For the life of me… How much time? (Silently, to yourself: “ I wanna know”) How much time? For the life of me… For the life of me… For the life of me… How much time? (Silently, to yourself: “ I wanna know”) How much time? We fired our guns and the British kept a’comin. There wasn’t quite as many as there was a while ago. We fired once more and they began to runnin’ on Down the Mississippi to the Gulf of Mexico. It was an itsy, bitsy, teenie, weenie, yellow polka-dot bikini That she wore for the first time today. It was an itsy, bitsy, teenie, weenie, yellow polka-dot bikini So in the water she wanted to stay. It was a one-eyed, one horned, flyin’ purple people eater A one-eyed, one horned, flyin’ purple people eater It was a one-eyed, one horned, flyin’ purple people eater Sure looks strange to me.
